The McGill Method summits include all three McGill Method courses (see descriptions below). These are instructed by Dr. Ed Cambridge and Joel Proskewitz live on-site, with virtual appearances of professor Stuart McGill for daily context and Q&A sessions with the group. Some delegates may choose to take an individual course. Attending the full summit will satisfy the course requirements to pursue McGill Method Certification.

Prof. Stuart M. McGill was a professor of spine biomechanics at the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, ON, Canada) for 32 years. He continues as a consultant where his advice is often sought by governments, corporations, legal experts and elite athletes and teams from around the world. Difficult back cases are regularly referred to him for consultation.
Dr. Ed Cambridge (PhD, DC) studied with Professor McGill for his PhD entitled “Hip & Spine Mechanics – Understanding the linkage from several perspectives from injury mechanisms to rehabilitation”. During this 6 year period he also worked side by side with professor McGill in the clinic. He is an outstanding instructor and highly competent with the scientific history that is the foundation of the McGill approach. He has taught with Professor McGill internationally for 7 years.
Mr. Joel Proskewitz has worked with Professor McGill for the past 15 years learning his approaches for assessment and performance training. He is a master trainer based in London UK. His exceptional diagnostic and clinical skills have been recognized in the UK as the only non-physician granted the privilege of ordering MRI scans for patients and matching features with clinical presentation. Professor McGill regularly refers difficult patients to Joel who assesses the individual to reach a precise understanding of the pain mechanism of patients who have failed traditional approaches. His knowledge and track record for success in restoring athletic ability is broadly recognized. He will impress you in both the assessment course and the performance enhancement course.
